if ice breaks in real life when you put it in water but not in this game?

it's minecraft not real life... 

that logic is dumb. this is based on minecraft classic, not real life

IRL logic doesn't apply to ClassiCube logic, hence why ice doesn't break on contact with a water block in-game than IRL.

its not possible via the vanilla singleplayer game but on a mcgalaxy server you could set ice to be destroyed by water with physics set to 4.
