If you have the correct permissions on a server you should be able to use /nick [username] [your preferred nickname]

note that most servers don’t allow the use of /nick in game due to impersonation issues

You’re right, I fixed it

On a mutiplayer server you use /nick (your player name) (name you want) and then press enter

THIS DOES NOT WORK  ON SINGLEPLAYER
