So on my friends server, she set up a bunch of custom blocks, and one of them was Aqua Glass. but it was spelt #Aqua Glass, i thought it was a typo, so i changed the name, and then the glass turned white.

Can you please screenshot of what exactly you mean by the block turning white?

nvm got it

It's because # is the symbol which tells the game to use "fogcolor" property to tint the block.
