How to create a server on a Mac

I can create a server on a Mac.I downloaded the Mcgalaxy zip file but it did not run.I tried the tar.gz file and i opened the folder and the mcgalaxy file was in there but it was a folder so, when i opened it it did not have the file to open the server.I don't know if there is something the use to host the server,but for now,I can't host one!

Here is a link to the latest MCGalaxy Release download. Make sure you download the tar.gz file. Within this file, you should find a MCGalaxy folder with its respective version number, and within this folder you should find the executable files you'll need to run the server. I believe for MacOS you're able to run the server using a Terminal and running MCGalaxyCLI.exe with mono-complete.

If you're instead looking for an alternative host for the server, you may want to consider using MCCH services or EddyNetWeb hosting.

As you are using a Mac you might not have Mono installed. Mono is required for MCGalaxy to work.

As icanttellyou correctly mentioned, you're going to need an installation of mono on MacOS. Here is a link with installation instructions.
