What is garbage loan and what is it used for?

Featured Replies

File hosting that only accepts texture pack files (terrain.png, models, or entire resource pack zips). It's useful for ClassiCube servers, where their owner can use a link from garbage.loan to fetch files from, instead of relying on another service. However usually files hosted on garbage.loan only stay for about half a year before they get removed.

As long as they are accessed, their removal timer is reset.

The website was created and is hosted by AndrewPH.
It can be used for Skins, Texture Packs, and recently, CustomModel files.
The URLs are designed to be less than 64 characters in total for best compatibility with max string length in the Classic Protocol.

Thanks for clarifying. I haven't used it myself yet (but will soon), all I claimed is what I remember reading on the site.
