Expanding the map of a server

Hello, does anyone know how to expand the map of my server ?

We are running out of space in ClassicBuilds ! lately .

I thought about downloading the map in singleplayer to expand it and then import it on the server but I'm not sure if it will work

If you are using the MCGalaxy Server Software, there’s a useful command that allows you to resize levels to your liking. 
“/resizelvl MapName X Y Z confirm”

X, Y, and Z being Length Height and Width respectively.

To determine what your current map size is you should use /mapinfo to be on the cautious side.
