Posted

Hi i had a problem of an internet error but i found a solution called "Update Your Internet explorer to 11 if you are using 8" it worked. but i got another problem when i try to download mcgalaxy with cheese textures but it says Error 12037 you may have an invalid certificate or an expired one.

I'm using Windows 7 (NT 6.1) SP1 64-bits, Classicube 1.3.6 (latest stable release).

That is not what the error says. Instead, it's saying "The date in the certificate is invalid or has expired." Is your computer's clock and timezone setting correct? Is Internet Time (NTP) enabled?

The asset servers require TLS 1.2, try enabling TLS 1.2 in Internet Options somewhere in control panel. I'm not really able to guide you how to do so since I haven't used Windows 7 in ages.

Yeah me too. This probably happens with outdated windows versions (i'm still using XP) so idk if windows 10 is fixed or not. But mine says an error occured in the secure channel support (Error 12157 )

This should work on Windows 7 with latest version of Internet Explorer. The step should be similar for Windows XP as long it has Internet Explorer 8 installed, https://superuser.com/questions/1689628/how-can-one-check-whether-my-windows-7-supports-tls-1-2
