cant join my own server

help i am triying to join my own server i hosted with whitelist and i already whitelisted myself into the server yet it still says 'this server might be down' when i try to join it or it just redirects me to another server entierly
my client ver is 1.3.5 and my server software is MCGalaxy ver 1.9.4.9

Try joining with direct connect on your client.
