Try shortening the URL, or using another image hosting service. I use Catbox on occasion, it generates a filename for the uploaded file that is 6 letters long (excluding file extensions), it's short and it's simple. You should give it a try.

^ This, I personally use Dropbox myself due to there being a desktop app for it, but i've heard that Imgur is good too.

if you want a free, in browser one, that i guarantee you isnt blocked, if you have that problem, http://put.nu/ is a good choice. there urls are realy short. like 16 characters max. and, no viruses.

you could also just do /skin bot +[minecraft name] if you want to upload a skin from minecraft. You could change the name of the bot so it is a in-game persons name, but it is case sensitive
