I keep getting error code 12029 when downloading something (like a texturepack from a server, or when i open the game it asks if i want to download something, and every single time i get this error, like 99% of the time)
its pretty annoying so i would like a fix to this error 😞

Windows 8.0 has been out of support since 2016, I recommend upgrading to 8.1. However you could try enabling TLS 1.2 in internet options, which you can get to from control panel.
