Error 80090302 when trying to download texture pack (or just load in) - Error Meaning: The Website uses an incompatible SSL/TLS Version.

Hello, i use Windows XP SP3. I used to have an error (12157) when i first downloaded Classicube 1.3.6. I tried to fix it and found a thread on the Classicube forums about it but even when i tried to follow it, it didnt work. now, i get error 80090302 when i launch Classicube or try to download a server's texture pack. How can i fix this? Thank you for reading!

Install latest Internet Explorer version, install all the updates required to enable TLS 1.2 support. Once you have the updates installed then enable TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 support.

i play on windows xp and i am on internet explorer 8 which i think is the latest version of internet explorer that supports xp. if i can install updates, where can i get them?
