ClassiCube 1.3.6 fails to initialize graphics on Windows 2000 machine

Hi there,

I have a Windows 2000 SP4 computer with a Pentium 4 2.4GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a Radeon 9500 Pro graphics adapter, and I thought it would be neat to see ClassiCube running on it, I think the specs should probably be sufficient, but it seems to be unable to initialize the display, neither the DX9 nor the OpenGL versoin, here are some screenshots:

I do have DirectX 9.0c, the December 2006 version installed, and I am able to play other period-correct 3D games, like C&C Renegade, Emperor: Battle for Dune, or Zootycoon 2.  Perhaps it could have something to do with the fact that this machine has both an integrated and a dedicated graphics adapter?

Best Regards,

Dooshki

Hi Unknown,

You're right, there was something wrong with my video drivers, probably something weird happened when I last did a clean install on this machine (with the exact same drivers and updates and everything as the previous install where I had played various 3D games), reinstalling the video drivers fixed it:

Thanks a lot!
