Direct3DCreate9 Crash

I am currently attempting to run ClassiCube on a Dell Dimension 4400. I was able to install ClassiCube just fine. I was able to open the game and login just fine. However, trying to actually play the game results in a crash. The crash log states that "Direct3DCreate9 returned value NULL". Any ideas on how to fix this? 

P.S. I do have Direct3D installed.
