Is there a way to make high resolution skins?

I have seen several times players with high resolution skins, or just body parts. Is there a way to make this or is it server texture pack exclusive?

https://www.classicube.net/acc supports uploading skins up to 8x the resolution of normal Minecraft skins. If that's not high enough resolution, MCGalaxy also offers the /skin command, which lets you set your own skin to an arbitrary .png image url (only in the server you used the command in, of course).

an easier method is to find a high resolution skin from websites like the skindex and more websites to found skins download a skin that you like then go to https://www.classicube.net/acc click select file then click the file of the skin you downloaded it should be a png or jpg then click open then click save then your skin should be saved i mean the skin should be applied so you can use it in every server alternatvly you can copy and paste the link of the skin in a server which is made in mcgalaxy then when you pasted the link of the skin type in chat /skin then after the /skin type the link of the skin it should also work
