My brother's PC is from 2008, running LM with XFCE and it's still kinda smooth to use for basic web browsing, offline content consumprion (DVDs, music...) and text editing. I've daily driven LM before on crappy PCs, and it really saved me from using Windows 10 :3 My favourites : Windows 7 (I daily drive it, I fucking love Aero), Linux Mint (user friendly, still light compared to Windows 10+) and Windows XP (have it on many old laptops, fantastic to use)

Dell Precision M4800 CPU : I7 4910MQ MXM GPU : Quadro M2000M (M2200/T2000 soon ?) Storage : 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD (maybe gonna add another 256GB SSD in the mSATA slot for a RAID 0 with the main SSD) Memory : 20GB DDR3 1600MHz (up to 32 soon) Screen : 1080p (but LVDS type motherboard, I hoped that my model was an eDP one since the dGPU can directly drive the screen without the iGPU in-between) I love it so much, but it would cost nearly a grand to do all the upgrades that i want (not cited in this post) TwT

I just dualboot Windows 7 and Linux mint now :3

Hello, does anyone know how to expand the map of my server ? We are running out of space in ClassicBuilds ! lately . I thought about downloading the map in singleplayer to expand it and then import it on the server but I'm not sure if it will work
