Hey! So I've been trying to play classicube on my old windows 98 machine. Its an IBM ThinkCentre with the IBM Rev. 2.4 motherboard, Pentium 4 CPU, 4GB of ram (limited to 512mb using configurations), and a ATI Radeon 9600xt GPU. The OS is Stock Windows 98 SE quickinstall, a version of windows 98 with a faster installer and boot. Now when I play classicube, it uses the OpenGL renderer, and makes these horrible incomprehensible artifacts. I tried Direct3d and it just freezes the system. Im currently on Catalyst 6.2 drivers, but i have tried older versions of those drivers, along with plenty of other fixes (like reinstalling chipset drivers, installing direct x manually, changing every bios setting under the sun). These fixes either did nothing, or made the game unable to launch. Anyone else experience this and have some wisdom to give? Any responses are greatly appreciated!
