do you have a Linux VM if so it might be able to work on that

this is could be problem with how the 3ds has only 128 or 256mb of ram if your on new 3ds and other hardware things and the fact the 3ds port is listed under "works with issues" but the Dreamcast has 16mb ram and still runs fine so its probably the fact that 3ds is in works with issues
