  1. I'm pretty sure appimages are universal and work on any distro as long as you have fuse installed (and in ClassiCube's case curl and OpenAL also need to be installed) I also found out the hard way that you need an X11 desktop environment to run appimages, so if you're using wayland as your desktop environment, you'll need to install xwayland in order to even open appimages
  2. Aight so I installed xwayland, and after trying to launch ClassiCube, I get a message saying that it started, but there is no window open anywhere However, I observed that issue only happens if you download it from classicube.net/download. If you download it from itch.io, it works the way it should. Other than that, the problem is solved. 👍

  4. I'm having trouble launching ClassiCube because every time I do, this happens Weird part is that it has worked before, but it only started happening after several package updates and re-installing ClassiCube. I've tried changing almost everything I could think of but to no avail. Even after looking online, to see if someone else has this problem, it seems that I am the first person to have an issue like this. The distro I'm using is Debian 12 tl;dr: run "sudo apt install xwayland" to get it working client.log
